Jonathon Bonfire Jovius was born in Hannover, Germany, where he grew up in the ghetto. He had a harsh childhood where his parents beat him, and brought him up the American way. After "hauptschule" in "Braunhaus", Hannover, he moved away from the ghetto and his parents, to live in America, where he adopted his "punk" like attitude, where he started to fish. He graduated from college in New York University, where he got a distinction in Fishing. He then hooked up many fishing rods to create his first guitar, and then joined his first rock band, "Bon Jovi", where he wrote songs about his fishing rod guitar. He was unhappy with his band, and so he became a dental floss addict. He currently lives in Los Angeles, when not touring with his new band, Runstall.
